This is such a wonderful scene for so many reasons. Joshua explains the importance of human connection, and how it saved the lives of Shiki, Rhyme, Beat and Neku. It ties directly back to Sora, because even though he’s not the “chosen one”, he’s still so special because of the way he connects with people. It’s also great to see a contrast between Riku and Sora. Riku is skeptical about the importance of connecting with people, but after examining Sora’s actions he begins to make a change. Also if you play the World Ends With You, this scene is just double the beautiful.
Who needs pick up lines when original dialogue is brimming with goodness.

If you guys have any ideas for Shiki and Eri PLEASE let me know. I’m really drawing a blank as far as dumb head cannons go.
I also can’t figure out whether Hanekoma would be Joshua’s hand or whether all the conductors from the game would have been past hands that Joshua grew bored with before he managed to trick Neku into getting stuck with the job. If nothing else, Sanae would make a killer Master of Whispers.

Shiki and Eri I could totally see as like, Tyrell/Hightower (or Florent? I forget) girls because of that whole tension between those houses that would be great I have no idea which would be which though
This was for Halloween last year but then shit happened (i.e. I can’t draw Joshua’s face T_T )
now I kinda want to finish it but there are so many mistakes and jkdlhsfgtkyertdfsft I should redraw it next Halloween or something. ; ;They are all dressed up as Reapers and Joshua is just being a Joshua.
